What is Exercise Referral?
Being physically active is important for everyone and the good news is, it’s never too late to begin!
Here at Guildford Spectrum Exercise Referral & Weight Management Scheme we recognise that returning to exercise can require a higher level of practical and emotional support if you have been inactive or have a long-term health condition. Whatever your personal situation, we are here to guide, motivate, and support you to prevent, improve, and manage your health condition.
Exercise Referral is all about improving your wellbeing through exercise. We will guide you through our 12-week scheme with a bespoke programme of supervised activity tailored to your individual goals and health needs.
Working in partnership with Surrey County Council, Active Surrey and the NHS, our subsidised, supportive scheme offers you:
- Unlimited access to our safe, supervised gym
- One-to-one contact with an Exercise Referral specialist instructor
- A personalised exercise programme designed to help you make long-lasting lifestyle changes
- Regular programme reviews to ensure you are progressing and to make any changes needed
- Check-ins with your personal coach to keep you motivated and on the right track
- Access to our follow-on, subsidised Live Well membership
Our Exercise Referral and Weight Management Scheme costs £75 for 12 weeks. Please note that this cost is payable by the client - the scheme is not funded by the NHS.
